Budgetful — Privacy Policy

Last updated May 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Budgetful ("the app", "we") collects and how it is used.

What we collect

When you create an account we store your email address. The budget data you enter — income, expenses, categories, and savings goals — is stored so it can sync to your account across devices. In the free, ad-supported version, our advertising provider may also collect device information and an advertising identifier.

How it is stored

Your account and budget data are stored with our backend provider (Supabase) and protected by per-user access rules, so only your signed-in account can read or change your data.

Third-party services

We rely on a few trusted providers, each of which handles data under its own privacy policy:

Advertising

The free version shows ads through Google AdMob, which may use your advertising identifier and device data to deliver and measure ads. You can reset or limit this identifier in your device settings. Upgrading to Premium removes all ads.

How we use it

Your data is used to provide the app: showing your budget, trends, and goals; processing subscriptions; and showing ads in the free version. We do not sell your personal data.

Data retention & deletion

You can edit or delete your entries at any time in the app. To delete your account and all associated data, email us and we will remove it.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
